يقدم مساعدو الرعاية المنزلية المساعدة الشخصية ويعززون الاستقلال الذاتي، بشكل يومي، للأفراد غير القادرين على الاعتناء بأنفسهم بسبب المرض أو الشيخوخة أو الإعاقة. فهم يقدّمون لهم المساعدة في النظافة الشخصية أو التغذية أو التواصل أو الأدوية وفقًا لتعليمات أخصائي الرعاية الصحية.

Excludes people performing activities under the supervision of medical or nursing staff.
