ESCO versions

ESCO will be continuously updated to reflect changes on the European labour market and in education and training. These changes are refelcted in different ESCO versions.

Version numbers starting with 0 (zero) are used for early ESCO versions that are used for piloting and testing only. The first fully-fledged ESCO version will be ESCO v1. As of this version,  a versioning mechanism will keep track of changes in ESCO.

• ESCO v0.1: Used for piloting as of early 2015
• ESCO v0.2: Used for piloting as of late 2015
• ESCO v0.8: Released in March 2017
• ESCO v0.9: Released in May 2017

Full ESCO versions

• ESCO v1: Released in mid 2017
• ESCO v1.1: Released in January 2022
• ESCO v1.1.1: Released in September 2022
