In July 2020, the Commission released two minor versions of ESCO (v1.0.6 and v1.0.7).

On 8 May 2020, the Commission will release an improved version of the European classification of Skills/Competences, Qualifications and Occupations (ESCO v1.0.5).

The Commission is pleased to announce that the ESCO v1 conference will be taking place in Brussels on 9-10 October 2017.

The Commission has launched the first full version of the European classification of Skills, Competences, Occupations and Qualifications (ESCO). 

In order to ensure that ESCO will continue being fit for purpose for its various use cases and IT applications after its release, the Commission services have developed a continuous improving process

The Commission currently prepares the final draft of ESCO in the English reference language.

On 23-24 October, the European Commission launched the classification of European Skills, Competences, Qualifications and Occupations (ESCO) during the conference "ESCO Goes Live" in Brussels. 350

The now public ESCO v0 is a classification of skills and competences, occupations and qualifications. In total the classification contains more than 200 000 terms.
