The event “ESCO 1.2: a global language for skills”, organised by the European Commission and the European Training Foundation (ETF) is taking place on 21-22 May 2024 online.

On 23-24 October, the European Commission launched the classification of European Skills, Competences, Qualifications and Occupations (ESCO) during the conference "ESCO Goes Live" in Brussels. 350

The now public ESCO v0 is a classification of skills and competences, occupations and qualifications. In total the classification contains more than 200 000 terms.
