As part of continuous efforts to collect feedback, promote collaboration and drive progress within the European Skills, Competences, Qualifications, and Occupations Classification (ESCO) and the European education and employment sectors, ESCO Secretariat is pleased to announce a new survey targeted at organisations involved in credential issuing. The survey seeks to gather valuable insights and perspectives on the implementation of ESCO from various organisations, including Learning Experience Platform Providers, Online course providers, Training and Education institutions and more.

Credential issuers and related organisation play a pivotal role in the validation and recognition of skills and qualifications, thus making their input crucial in understanding the impact of ESCO integration. By aligning skills and competences with ESCO classification, mapping qualifications and enhancing credential descriptions with ESCO terminology, these institutions and organisation can facilitate smoother transitions between education, training and the labour market. Furthermore, the use of ESCO in credential metadata can foster cross-border recognition and collaboration.

We encourage all organisations involved in credential issuing services to participate in this survey, which will take just a few minutes of your time. Your feedback will contribute to a deeper understanding of the benefits, challenges, and opportunities associated with ESCO implementation.
