Open call for experts to join the ESCO Maintenance Committee

The European Commission has launched a call for experts to take part in the next ESCO Maintenance Committee (ESCO Maintenance Committee phase III).

The Maintenance Committee will support the Commission from 2018 to 2022 in the current ESCO development stage. Objectives of the Maintenance Committee III:

During this term, the ESCO Maintenance Committee is expected to:

  • advise the European Commission on the continuous technical and conceptual improvement of ESCO,
  • formulate opinions on the approach for technical implementation, on quality control principles and on the revision of ESCO data and updating proposals,
  • advise the Commission on the implementation of ESCO in software applications.

The ESCO Maintenance Committee meets around four times a year in Brussels and for each meeting (typically in March, June, September and December), travel and accommodation costs are reimbursed in line with the European Commission rules.
