The scope of this sector includes the manufacture of wood and of products of wood and cork, except furniture; the manufacture of articles of straw and plaiting materials; the manufacture of paper and paper products and the printing and reproduction of recorded media.
The ESCO Secretariat will invite European organisations and stakeholders to contribute with their expertise to the development of the list of occupations in the "wood processing, paper and printing" sector and the knowledge, skills and competences terminology linked to them.

By February 2016 the ESCO Secretariat will finish the online consultation process, so that it can translate the final results into 24 languages and prepare it for release as part of the ESCO classification in the end of 2016.
