The International Standard Classification of Education: Fields of Education and Training 2013 (ISCED-F) is a classification which is related to the International Standard Classification of Education (ISCED). Both are maintained by the UNESCO Institute for Statistics.
The ISCED-F is developed independently from the ISCED levels of programmes and qualifications. The classification is designed as a three level hierarchy. There are 11 broad fields, 29 narrow fields and about 80 detailed fields.
In ESCO, ISCED-F is used as structure to classify knowledge concepts in the skills pillar.
