The event “ESCO 1.2: a global language for skills”, organised by the European Commission and the European Training Foundation (ETF) is taking place on 21-22 May 2024 online.

This article covers the ESCO engagement and highlights key events the ESCO team took part in towards the end of 2023.

Events

The conference was held in Palma (Majorca) on 26, 27 and 28 October 2022 and was organised jointly by the EURES, EUROPASS, EUROGUIDANCE and EURODESK networks.

The main objective of the event was to define and promote specific solutions for the Public Employment Services (PES) and to support the recovery of employment in Latin America and the Caribbean

The event took place on the 16th of June from 9:30 to 12:30.

On 10 February 2020, the ESCO team metthe Dutch public-private partnership House of Skills which works in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area to support the transition towards a skills-based labour market

On 30 May 2019, the ESCO team had a meeting at the US Department of Labour in Washington DC.
