The European classification ESCO is a practical implementation of the Commission's digital labor market policies. It serves as a common reference for skills, education, and occupations across Europe, promoting job-market alignment, education-employment links, and skill-demand analysis.

ESCO's key objectives encompass transparent and comparable skills and occupations, enhanced EU mobility, bridging education-labor gaps, and fostering collaboration among Public Employment Services. It empowers the European labor market through regular skills analysis, aiding educational institutions in tailoring curricula to meet market needs.

ESCO is therefore facilitating an interconnected, digital European labour market by supporting use cases which are presented in the following four documents that you can find bellow.
