The Commission has recently launched a new ESCO portal

In the first quarter of 2021, the Commission will launch an improved version of the ESCO portal.

In the last months, EU Member States have engaged in the demanding process of mapping their national classifications of occupations (and skills, where available) to the ESCO classification.

On 22 and 23 September, ESCO participated at the EURES online peer-learning activity “Enhancing job mobility through a common language”.

The European Commission would like to involve European and national stakeholders in the revision of the ESCO classification.

The entry into force of the Implementing Decisions provided for in art.19 (2) and (6) of the EURES Regulation marks the start of the 3 years period of mapping.
