The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has more than 73 Members in 56 countries, around 400 employees and 8 main departments.

The European Commission launched on the 1st of July 2016 a targeted on-line consultation to the ESCO Member States Working Group.

A high-level delegation from the Skills Development Division of the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) visited the ESCO team of the European Commission on the 23rd of June. 

ESCO was presented at the 14th Human Resources Assembly #EBUHR2016 of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).

On 2 June, ESCO team leader Mr Martin le Vrang presented the ESCO classification on the "Intelligent Machines and the Future of Recruitment" conference in Amsterdam.

More than 100 employees from the Public Employment Services (PES) of the Canary Islands gathered in Las Palmas and Tenerife on 16 and 17 November 2015 to attend the ESCO workshops held by the ESCO

The e-learning and recruitment platform AcademyCube now uses ESCO to improve the matching of skills profiles with jobs for the ICT sector.

ESCO, the multilingual classification of European Skills, Competences, Qualifications and Occupations, has been published on the European Union Open Data Portal.
