On 23 April 2019, a delegation of the Korea Employment Information Service (KEIS) visited the European Commission for a meeting with ESCO and the new Europass.

Over the past two decades, the digital revolution has changed how the labour market matches people with jobs.

Two years since the launch of ESCO v1, the Commission is keen to identify new ESCO implementers throughout Europe and beyond.

ESCO is used in Monster’s job portal in Spain.

The Digital Labour Market team (ESCO and Europass) has presented the Europass Digitally Signed Credentials and the ESCO project at the Decentralized conference in Athens, Greece, from 30 October to 1

On 10 April the Commission services, upon request, visited the Central Public Employments Services of Spain in Madrid (SEPE) to support the Spanish authorities on the technical implementation of ESCO.

On 2-3 April 2019, the Commission participated in a two-day conference in Warsaw.

On 30 May 2019, the ESCO team had a meeting at the US Department of Labour in Washington DC. 

Since the official launch of ESCO in 2017, the European Commission has committed to an ongoing improvement process. 

On 10 February 2020, the ESCO team metthe Dutch public-private partnership House of Skills which works in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area to support the transition towards a skills-based labour market
