The conference was held in Palma (Majorca) on 26, 27 and 28 October 2022 and was organised jointly by the EURES, EUROPASS, EUROGUIDANCE and EURODESK networks.

In the last months, EU Member States have engaged in the demanding process of mapping their national classifications of occupations (and skills, where available) to the ESCO classification.

On 22 and 23 September, ESCO participated at the EURES online peer-learning activity “Enhancing job mobility through a common language”.

The entry into force of the Implementing Decisions provided for in art.19 (2) and (6) of the EURES Regulation marks the start of the 3 years period of mapping. 

On the 18 of July 2018 the European Commission adopted the Implementing Decisions provided for in Article 19 of Regulation 2016/589/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 April 2016.

EURES is the network of European employment services. It helps to bring together job vacancies and job applications throughout Europe.
