Lai ESCO arī turpmāk sniegtu pievienoto vērtību darba tirgum un izglītības un apmācības sistēmām, tā ir pastāvīgi jāuzlabo, jo darba devēji regulāri pieprasa jaunas profesijas un prasmes, turklāt izglītības un apmācības programmu plāni un tajās izmantotā terminoloģija regulāri mainās. Lai pielāgotos šīm izmaiņām, ir svarīgi ar organizācijām, kas izmanto ESCO, un citām ESCO ieinteresētajām personām bieži apmainīties ar atsauksmēm, ieteikumiem un priekšlikumiem par to, kā uzlabot klasifikācijas saturu un pārvaldību.
